Killswitch for Majesty

I do not need a mono-to-stereo mode for piezo in my Majesty. My setting is always mono. I thought that I would be able to replace this potentiometer to works as a volume for piezo and at the same time as the killswitch for magnetic pickups.

That's a momentary switch, meaning you have to hold it down to make it work. What's wrong with using the normal mag/piezo switch as a kill switch?
