This was really funny!! I was having some work done on my car, and as ususual, I got my guitar out to practice in the waiting room. I noticed that the guy behind the counter was looking at me for a while, then I looked up and he said, "what kind of strings are those?"
Well, quite honestly, I've never been asked that by someone as a first question, (usually it's the guitar, what music I play, what year, etc. . . ), and I was kinda of stunned, due to the fact I wasn't ready for that question, and that it happens to be one of my "favorite subject" my #2253 strings"!!! lol,lol,lol I think he thought I didn't know at first - lol,lol,lol
Anyway, does anyone else have a funny or unusual question or comment that someone may have said after seeing you with a bass or guitar??
