Foggy, if I had to guess I imagine you can order the color as soon as it's announced, though I bet that there's a wait of a few months to get enough to paint. Just a guess here though.

Limited Editions are usually available for ordering for about 8 months, as we are now putting the year on the bass on the back underneath the neck plate.
Actually, the first Limited Edition was in Radiance Red -- the headstocks were black and the writing on it gold. The second LE was the Envy Green one and followed by Buttercream. What's next? Stay tuned....
