Went out Saturday night to check out Larry's band. Color me impressed, not that I didn't expect them to be good, but after hearing so many mediocre cover bands over the years and then hearing Larry's and also Ray Dukes bands recently I am impressed.
Heres the instrumentalists showboating ;)

And in this pic you can almost make out Larry's head behind all the people dancing.

You can't tell by the pics, but the place was packed. They were doing 1 in 1 out when I left, thats seems kinda crazy for a bar in Lewisville, TX.

Why ain't Larry out in front showing off that purty Bongo?

Looks like it was a fun gig. Next time I'm in Austin visiting my aunt and uncle, I'm gonna have to hook up with you guys.

Who won the ballgame?

Who cares? There's live rock & roll!

Thanks Paul for the pics and the reveiw!

That was a great gig. I had a few people that didn't get in though because of the size of the crowd. Paul got there early enough to not only get in before we started but to also grab a seat at the bar. This band's popularity seems to be growing with every gig. This is the most fun I've had with a band in years!

I wish I were there Larry, looks like a fun night!

I've been thinking about dissappearing for a few days, I could show up in Texas, man it would be great to hear you guys and of course shoot the sh1t. :D

Come on down! Our next gig is February 11th and you are more than welcome to stay at my house. It's only about 10 minutes from DFW airport.

Wow - joint is jumping! :D

Glad things are working out for you with this band - the "rock & roll" stuff that get's people on the dance floor is my favorite stuff to play.
