I hate fretlines on fretless, it just ruin the aesthetics of a beautiful piece of wood.(BID,BID,BID)

That's funny, I actually like fretlines. I like how they look and its nice to have a little help on a dark stage or when playing up high. It doesn't matter how good your fretless looks(and the crowd won't give a damn either way) if you aren't in tune.

Is it sad that I had to stick those images in a editor to flip them to look like a "righty" bass before it really felt like it looked right? It was beautiful to begin with - but now I'm just totally floored at how good that Tobaccoburst looks with the black pickguard and the unlined fretless board. All the yellows, browns, and blacks just blend perfectly. Much in the way I love the Honeyburst, tort, and unlined fretless look.

EBMM makes too many gorgeous basses.

I've never played a fretless, I just figured the lines would help me.

That bass is growing on me, it is beautiful. My only salvation would be for my Bongo to come before that auction is over. I've already bought three basses during the wait (love two of them), if I buy another before the Bongo comes I... I, don't know what would happen, but it would be something BAD!!!:eek: :eek: :eek:

for a while now. I can't find one - they are
not that common, and the ones pictured @
BC were sold.

I finally found one in Atlanta Monday night
but found out it was sold on Tuesday . . . I
was all ready to pounce. I may just have
to order one.

Yeah, no crap. I feel quite silly, I didn't even realize that Tabacco burst was an option let alone a current color. :o I think I may have seen it before and thought that it was the regular sunburst. The Tabacco burst is awesome though, so much better than the vintage sunburst. I'll add it later.
