Um heya this is my first post. I plan on buying a Sterling one of these days but I was wondering... Roger from the band Less Than Jake plays one that is bright green, which I haven't seen in the color chart. I have a pic...

It's like the coolest color ever (IMHO) so I was wondering if this is a discontinued color or something custom. It seems to be the only of its kind that I've seen.

.... the lighting is a little off (natural vs. artificial) but I think they're the same colour, and that looks pretty darn close to the Green SR5 at BassCentral.... do they update their site alot?

I think we're on to something here.... my buddy who works at a guitar shop here in town and sold me my SR5 said a while ago they had this "weird" green Stingray in that just looked amazing in his opinion but others hated it but it sold immediately.He went to see if he could get a guitar in that colour but EB said it was discontinued and he's very certain that it wasn't just the stock Trans. Green... I think you're right Bovi. , yours does look like a shade or 3 lighter than the Less than Jake bass........ hmmmmm
 
No, you are not the only one....I caught an awful lot of grief about that poor bass being 'piss yellow'. Great player, though. In certain circles, it was famous....some would say 'infamous'.
 
Ok that less than jake bass has to be the uglyest color i have ever seen. yuk. get another color!!!
 
Oh, right, sorry, let me submit all my basses and you can approve the color.

Grow up, please, and notice the level of maturity we've so far been able to maintain on this board.
