there are only 40 of you who have signed up.....rub elbows with the guys and gals that make and play your favorite guitars.......Lukather, Morse, Petrucci, Vinnie....ccome on it
is too good to pass up....How many times do you regret the things you didn't do?

In situations like this I regret that I live in Poland:( it would be great to be there, too bad it's impossible for me to go there.

God bless,

Philip

I wonder if more would do it if they could split the hotel costs with others?

All those who would say Aye.

Maybe if there are, there's a way to pair up some by age.

Just a thought (it's how they do it at the National Guitar Workshop).

BP, this is a great opportinuty. I'm trying to make it happen. I have a feeling that this will never happen again, so I really am working on it.

Thanx, Glenn |B)

C'mon Glenn... you've gotta make this happen. You're right, it might be the only time the planets align to give us something like this. What a lineup!!!!!

Anyhow, you and beej are mandatory. :D

take care,
fred

I promised my niece (and fellow forum member) that I would take her to see a concert after she graduated high school. We wanted to find something special. When this opportunity came up the selection was a no brainer.

This is an event that no one else will ever see. It is, for all intense and purpose, an invitation only show and if you are reading this (and signed up) you are invited. This is your golden ticket inside the chocolate bar. This will be a lifetime memory made just for you.

I have personally met 3 forum members and they are all fantastic people. I can’t wait to meet more of you. Keith is bringing a couple of guitars and amps with the hope that we will get a chance to play at the hotel. I love to hear other people play EBMM guitars. I would love to hear you play an EBMM guitar.

Sure, airfare and hotels cost money, but I feel very strongly that this event will well worth it. I love Keith’s idea about splitting hotel costs. That will save you $100 at least right there If the idea can work for you just sound off right here. DWF and I are carpooling. If somebody else needs a ride from Phoenix or Tucson, give me a shout out. I’m renting a big car. Warg is driving from Salt Lake. He might have room on the back of his moped. Just ask and it can happen.

Ride the dog! It is a three day trip across America (the beautiful) but greyhound will get you from NY city to SLO and back for around $200. Come to Cali any way you can!

I agree folks. If you pass this up you will surely live to regret it.

OC, sell some gear to get your tix. You can always buy the gear again later.

Glenn, find a way to make it happen!

Norrin, dump the kids for a few days... hell, that's what I'm doing! ;) Make it a getaway for you and your lady.

Geez guys, I think my wife will be the only person taking the Hearst tour unless you start getting some dates! (Well, I think Mobay's wife is coming, too. And I know Janice is coming but she's hangin' with the boys.)

Gav (Rod Trussbroken from the bass-clef side of the forum) is coming all the way from "down under". Tokkes is coming from Belgium, and I think some of our UK brethren are hopping the pond.

Make it your family vacation. That's what I'm doing. After SLO I plan on going to LA for a few days. This way I get to check out the west coast. I've never been there. Also I'm not flying into SLO. It's cheaper to fly into LAX and then rent a car. Plus the drive should be nice.

2 nights hotel cost isn't the real issue for me, getting a direct flight from Ottawa to SLO is...it seems I need to spend even more money getting to these other locations just to complete the trip...now if I was single, I wouldn't think twice about coming, but having a family, and the kids braces, and other dental expenditures, plus the fact that we are a one income family just makes it seem like I would be acting selfishly. I'm not whining I just want people to understand that I appreciate the offer, and I would love to attend, however it may be out of reach for some of us. Thanks anyway!

Just go to PHX or LAX. We will pick you up!

Thanks Fred ... I'll all over it like a fat kid on a smartie

Round trip airfair to and from SLO= $200 dollars

2-3 nights at motel 6= $150-$210 dollars

Disposable camera for pic's=$6.95 dollars

Other odds and Ends= $50-$150 dollars

A once in a lifetime chance to meet and experience Music Man's signiture endorse's up close and personal, along with getting an inside tour of the Music Man factory located in California's amazingly beautiful central coast= PRICELESS!!

Wow, Kevin! What airline are you flying? My tix were around $500 each, and I had to get 2 of 'em!

My trip is more like:

2 tix to SLO: $1005
2 nights in a slightly higher-end hotel: $320

Chance to meet Big Poppa, Jongitarz, Beth (who we are told 'rocks'), Dargin, Derek, and eat on Sterling's dime... PRICELESS!

Hell, I would have come just to hang with you EBMM folks and check out the factory (and pick up my beta wah pedal :p). The artists are just the icing on the already delicious cake...

My only regret is that I'd like to bring my JP6 and have Jon set it up for .009's.. but alas, I don't want to run the risk of having to check it.. plus I'm changing planes in Phoenix, so there's another chance for it to get lost/abused.
