Limited Edition Two

Bery nice!

I wonder how that finish looks on a Bonger?

Sorry, but It seems to me that it is a very ugly colour, and with the black headstock and the pearloid pickguard, the ugliest MM combination.

Cereal?

Jack-

You ordered one of those green things?

I have to admit, you are a style maverick.

Ernie ball should probably give you a cut for all the bongers they have sold--

I have to admit I thought they were pretty godawful looking before, but given yours and everyone elses endorsment I'm starting to see the light.

But I'm not so sure about the Barf Bass (the green limited edition)

There it is... I've named it.

none more black.

I rather like the green, and the black headstock is always #1 in my book (it's just like my first pro quality bass, Ibanez Roadstar II series jazz).

Bovine, I wish I could up and order one like you! I'm just a poor daddy from LFP though ('daddy' is used literally in this case). uvapete is right: they should give you a cut!:D

hey Jack what model did you order? bongo 5 or 4 and what pickup config. I'm thinking about picking up a Bongo 4 in envy green with Humbucker/single to go with my Bongo 5 in Candy Red. It will be christmas all over again!!!!

Well, I must admit, aside from all of the technical innovations the Bogo has, I still could never see myself owning or playing one. The love I have gained from my first MM SR5 has done a lot to change my mind. I have pretty much settled on the fact that my next bass will be a Bongo. It will probably have to be a double humbucker 5 model just because of the tonal versatility.

Jack, I have looked at the collection of basses you have now and have had in the past, and the fact that you will now have 4 Bongos out of all the basses you could have instead says a lot about them. I hope the Green Invy is a special as the other ones.

Personally I think I might have to go the Egyptian smoke route.
Bongo Egyptian Smoke

It is amazing how things you never thought you'd like can grow on you.

as I said

is there a better advertisement for the bonger than Mr. Bovine himself?

perhaps we should start lobbying for a Bovine limited edition bonger?

It could have a Holstein cow paint finish, and in this case, the matching headstock would probably be in order.

I would like to see this.

excellent idea!!!

Now I wouldn't turn one down, but I'm not going to exactly hold my breath on this one, either.

Hell, at this point, I'd be happy just to see a photo of a Bongo in that limited edition green color!
