Hey there!

I'm Sebastian from Chile and this is my first post in these forums! Glad to join this community of fellow musicians and EBMM lovers.

I recently purchased a used 2013 full loaded Mystic Dream JP6 (beautiful guitar) and I'm pretty happy with it! I got it at an excellent price, but "cheap has its costs": Has several dings and even a couple of cracks on the finish, little ones so not worried. The thing is that getting new EBMM here in Chile its UBERLY SUPREMLY expensive in Chile lol.

The thing is it has, near the audio outputs a chip where you can even see the wood, it went through the finish.I don't care much about it so I wanted to ask you if the little cracks on the finish and the chip where you can see the wood it's going to get bigger and bigger over time and ruin the finish for good.

Thank you! And hoping to participate more in these forums!

PS: Will be posting pics of the cracks and the chip soon.

I would not worry about it too much. It might not get any bigger on it's own (the dings on my guitars never did unless I peeled them off myself). But if you wanted to you could use a small amount if liquid super glue just to seal the edges of the paint chip to the wood. (Not super glue gel, and careful not to get it anywhere it's not supposed to be!)

+1 on the superglue. nice n thin and dropfill it in a bit at a time on the end of a cocktail stick or match.
I even used a blend of nail varnish when I refurbed one - wasn't perfect but it didn't "shout out at you!"

Awesome, thanks. I'll try dropfilling it with liquid superglue with a cocktail stick, great idea. I think I will not use nail varnish, the ding is on the back of the guitar.

About the cracks in the finish, I can just leave them there right? There are not that big (one centimeter or so the biggest one) I'm just worried they could get bigger.

Thanks for the replies!
