a guy from a town about an hour away called and asked if i was interested in swapping for an old MM sitting under his bed.
he bought it about 10 years ago second hand and he is going to get me the serial number.he say the tuning pegs have the MM logo on them ?? dont think i have seen that before.
if i get it i will post some pic's,

No logo? Guess I'm not that observant and they're not here to check... I'm pretty sure my '86 has the logo on the tuners. I've been playing a Super Redhead for a long time - what are you getting to replace it?

thanks Jack....
but i think he means the logo on the actual tuning pegs not the plate,i wont get a chance to see it for a few more days as i am away for the weekend,so as soon as i do see it i will take a few pics and see for myself.

the super redhead is a cool amp but i have been won over by the mark bass gear.

the only other thing he found under his bed was an old pair of sock and some soiled under pants........he can keep them:p

He thinks it is a 1970's ray,he is not sure so when i get the serial number i will check it out.
