I wish i could show more picture but i guess the files or to big.
From what i hear its a rare 99'vans worped tour music man the pick-ups are active
its signed by jamie fox,its an AXIS,with locking tunners and that vans sign is a paint job NOT a sticker. Just was woundering what everyone thinks of it and maybe about whats its worth(but im not selling it)

Dude, it's nice. The pickups are EBMM's M90's I don't have any guitars with them (yet?), but those that do love them.

It looks like an Axis Sport, is it? I have 2 and love'm.

You can post your pics to the Picture sticky. Use Photo Editor or Photo Shop to reduce the file size, if I remember they can't be any larger than 100kb. Use the resize image option.

Later, Glenn |B)

I have the 2000 Rare Vans tour, its nice to see others...

If you have the larger pic up on the web, where you can link to them on an Internet site, you can do that in the advanced posting section, and those pics will be uploaded, never mind the size.

Otherwise, yes, the little popup window method when posting caps you at 100KB.

Nice guitar, btw... :)

Nice guitar! I have what you have basically, but in trans purple. MM90s are killer pickups!

BTW, I'd get that signature clearcoated right away by a good luthier, if I were you...Jamie Foxx is getting rave reviews for his new Ray Charles movie - we're talking Oscar-level buzz. He's apparently a VERY talented guy who can sing, dance, and do other acting other than the "In Living Colour"-style comedy stuff most of us know him for, so who knows what he'll do in the future.

Darrell, is that 100k limit per user, or per thread posting, or....? I've got a 46k pic of my Luke I posted on a past thread, and I can't put anything else of size up anywhere else here due to that quota...

Hey Raz - what is that color on the SUB on the left called? Is that like the Luke pearl gray? Whatever it is , I sure like the look of it.

Thanks, umm I don't know, its like a carbon black and the fancy paint is like a grey/silver...I'm not to good with colours :D

Nice axe.....what is it worth? Depends. Some people will pay a ridiculous amount of money because of the signature.....others for the one of a kind paint job. So, I couldn't tell you.

Uh, I doubt you'd crest $550 with this on Ebay - Raz picked his Vans tour Axis up for a a lot less than that there, and it's not because no one else saw it; the only "collectable" EBMM's worth a premium that I've noticed are the EVH's, the Nigel Tufnel hot-rod sig. based on the AL, and some celebrity owned ones (a Luke owned/signed by Steve, for instance). The others (the Vans tour Axis, the CMIA 25th Anniversary Silhouette, and other models I've seen with "Limited Edition" paint jobs or what have you) simply do not sell for any more than you'd get for the equivalent work-a-day model. Period. I wish it were different, but until EBMM's gain more mainstream exposure, I don't think they're going to generate that kind of "collector" interest.

Well, there you have it....$550 roughly. Thanks for the input JimiD.....I was never good at pricing stuff I never owned. :D

Actually mine was more than 550.00. I never bought it because of the sig...I couldn't care less, I bought it because it was an affordable Axis, that nobody wanted...the poor thing was neglected, left hanging...it has seen very little play time, it needs some good ol' fashion lovin, that's what buying an Axis is all about, or for that matter an EBMM... I couldn't stand to see these creations left, ignored and not loved...and when I see one that has been dropped, or is damaged... I FREAK!

I am really not sure, to be honest with you. I didn't think that you would have a size quota like that, short of the 100KB max upload. I'll see if I can't run that by the web cats and get their insight.

Oops... Sorry Raz, I thought you scored a better deal than that on it... Anyway, I don't think you'd see these selling for more than $600-$650 as a rule - that seems to be the median "sale-able" price that Axis Sports are going for now; tho' many people ask more, those don't seem to sell...

Hey for me it was a good deal, I've never seen one that low...is the Axis body bigger than that of the Sport?

I think it is a good deal, but EBMM have pretty poor resale value as a rule... :)

The Axis, Axis Sport and Axis Super Sport are all identical in terms of shape and size... They differ in appointments, woods used, pickups, bridges and sundry cosmetics only...

HOW much so you think the vans guitar is worth

HEY Raz

Just like a ruff figure they were trying to sell it at a pawn shop for $1600
and going to put it on Ebay for that much starting bid is that worth it?

and whats the $550 is that what you paid for yours?
