Hey all,

I am having difficulty finding a Steve Lukather Signature Limited Edition Luke III HSS Vintage Tobacco Burst w/ Maple Fingerboard - Used or New

The guitar is for my son, so I am admittedly ignorant when it comes to gear talk - Apologies in advance

Any suggestions would be fantastic!

Thanks Gio,

After discussing in detail over the last few days what my son is looking for, along with further clarifying research online, my focus has been refined to these 11 criteria:

- Ernie Ball
- Music Man USA
- PDN
- Limited Edition
- Steve Lukather
- Signature
- BFR
- Luke III
- VTB (Vintage but TB/Tobacco Burst colour can change)
- HSS
- Roasted Maple Neck w/Maple Fingerboard

The guitar does exist as we lost out on an opportunity to secure one last month. It is either a 2014, 2015 or 2016 model.

Out of ignorance I have to ask if any of the ones you mentioned above, fits this?

My son already has 4 other guitars which is why he is now focused on this very specific model

Any suggestions for sourcing used guitars to compare against the new at Reverb?

That I don’t know I haven’t seen any of those used yet. Maybe one could pop up on guitar center or eBay eventually
