I'm looking to trade my Lava Pearl Bongo HH for either another Bongo with the HS config or a Stingray w/ a maple board....preferrably a newer one...'97 & up. My Bongo is in mint condition & has a standard MusicMan/SKB case. I may be willing to sell but I'd rather do a trade. Also the trade can't be a color I already have: white, Black, Rad Red, & Rolls Burgandy.
I brought it and one of my HS Bongos to my gig last night. I was so comfortable with the HS because of where I pick that the HH annoyed me when I played it & wound up switching back mid-set.
Anyhow...here are some pics:

Actually James, Full retail on new is OK. Discounted retail, no go. And used is just fine.

A) I have the exact same one.......

B) I don't have Stingray to trade you...

Sorry for my useless post, but it is a great looking bongo and I hope you get what you are looking for.

and besides....as of now there are no used Bongos up for auction right now.

I'll be listing a used black Bongo 4HH tonight but it's not as clean as yours...you should do well with that one I'd say!!

I hope so. I'd still rather trade & get an HS 4 or 5 BUT the bass is sitting here & knowing I don't want to play it makes me want to get rid of it faster.
Actually I have a black Bongo 4HH as well but I'm keeping that one.:eek:
