You know, even though my '79 Sabre was modded with a Modulus neck and Hipshot bridge, it was fairly undersold at $800 shipped.

That bass was as reliable and solid as not only the vintage P-basses, but it felt better than most of the boutique basses I pulled off the rack to try out.

To each his own though, I guess.

I love guys who state "the facts" even tho' there is no evidence that "the facts" are true and when refuted simply states they are "the facts". Makes for an enjoyable time for all
