Hahahahahahaha...Yes! Well guys, as many of you know, a few weeks ago I made the decision to go with a Carbon Blue Pearl Pet, with matching headstock. What many of you didn't know, is that I have been jonesing for this guitar worse then a crack addict in rehab. So, this week I called Pete to ask him if he still had that fully loaded CBP in stock. Luckily, for me he did. So we made the arrangments to cancel my previous order, and I took that one off his hands. Now, what I have is a fully loaded Carbon Blue Pearl JPM!!! I have say that this is the best playing, most amazingly beautiful guitar that I have ever laid my eyes on! Not only will I never part with this ax, but I am currently in negotiations with the woman for an Egyptian Smoke JPM for Christmas. Yes, I am addicted!!! :D

Anyway, I know there are not alot of Carbon Blue Pics out there, so I really tried to take some nice pics for you guys. I hope you enjoy them. I know Rush wanted some for his gallery. You are all welcome to save whatever pics you like. She is beautiful, and I want to share her with all the world!!! :D

Special Thanks: To Big Poppa and all at Ernie Ball for making the best guitars in the world. I will shout you're names from the rooftops! And a very special thanks to Pete for his patience, wealth of information, and professionalism. You were a big factor in my purchasing decision. You're a great guy, a friend, and the one that I will go too for all my future purchases.

That's one freakin' beauty of a Pet. If I see you posting on this board instead of playing that sweet thing, you are in big, big, big trouble!

Thank you for all you're comments and compliments, everyone! My Pet and I spent quite a stretch of time together lastnight, getting acquainted with one another. In my 21 years of playing, I have played just about every guitar that you could think of, and I can now officially say this guitar has no equal, in my eyes. It is simply perfect in every way. Truthfully, if the the first one I tried played anywhere near this, then I would have owned one of these quite sometime ago :)

Pete - You were right. That birdseye is funky! I love the pattern.

Ernie1966 - What is it like to gaze upon all those beauties of yours, and to know that you own them? I mean, just looking at one is pure bliss. I couldn't imagine having a room full of these things. I would never leave my house again. And you make a good point. I see my post count drastically decreasing, especially over the coming weeks. By the way, you just received one of yours recently, did you not? Any chance seeing some pics? :D

Once again, thanks everyone! As beautiful as it looks in the pics, it's even more stunning in person. :)

Congrats on a beautiful guitar, my friend! Thank you for posting some pics of your new Pet, it helps me while I'm waiting for mine to come in. I'm thinking I've got about 10 weeks left, also a CBP, but no Inlays. I've been visiting Rush's site every day and going back and forth between those four pics that are up there. Kinda happy that I have new "Guitar Porn" to check out.. heheh :p

Carbon Blue is a really peaceful soothing solid to me.

Might have to get one eventually.

Nothing beats your first music man and the initial getting to know it period.

Makes playing as joyful as it's ever been.

First of all, why are you still posting??? One more post out of you, and I'll........

Second, I have not received any new Pet's recently. I have three on the way and pics will be posted when they are in my greedy little hands.

Have you decided on the colours for your new Morse collection? :p

Thanks Alan! I know what you're saying about Rush's gallery. I can't tell you how many times I looked through that gallery. I'm not quite sure whether it helped or fueled the jones for my guitar. Intitally, I ordered on simular to yours. CBP with matching headstock, no inlay, no piezo. However, I am happy that I decided not to wait and take the fully loaded CBP off of Pete's hands. I would have regreted it had I skipped on the piezo. And the JP inlays, which I was initially against, are quite stunning in person. Not sure if I would go with them again, only because I now have one with them. But, I certainly wouldn't be against it. Especially, if that were the only way I could get a Blue Dawn, Autumn Redburst, or Autmn Redrise. I'm looking forward to you're post when you get yours. Trust me, there is no way to prepare yourself for what you will see when you open that case for the first time...unparalelled beauty. :)

Oh, and sorry, Ernie1966. I thought I had read that you already received on of you're guitars. My bad.
