Got a really nice Luke III in bodhi blue, reminds of a Les Paul in tone but higher quality build, really a player's guitar.

I noticed the locking tuners are kind of hard to turn compared to my Axis SS, which has the same tuners I think, just different knobs. Does this change over time/use or do you have to lubricate them?

I bought the Luke new and Axis used, so maybe a break-in period....

DrKev is correct. If you back the screws out a smidge on the top of the tuner buttons it will make them easier to turn. There's a sprung washer behind the button to keep tension on the tuner so it won't come completely loose if you back the screw off a bit.

Thanks very much for the info guys. I'll give that a shot.

Here's a little eye-candy of my latest acquisition, an Axis EVH Tribute in tobacco burst (I think).

and the afore-mentioned Luke in bodhi blue.

Wow. That Axis is awesome! If you can't get those tuners adjusted right just give the guitar to me so they don't bother you anymore. I'm willing to take one for the team. :D
