Hey guys,

Does the Luke come stock with a CTS volume pot?

I have used CTS pots on all of my guitars. I like the feel of them as opposed to the Alpha pots. They seem to turn much easier and offer less resistance when turning. It is something I have become accustomed to.

My new Luke 1 Sledge pot seems to be different in feel. Any info is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Tom

Can't tell much about the brand but as Luke 1 is equipped with emg it might be emg pot that are specific to this type of active electronic

I don't think they are CTS. They're probably EMG stock pots. At least they look the same as the ones that I've gotten from EMG.

Thanks for the info guys.
I've been looking on the net for a CTS replacement and can't seem to locate one.
Might have to go to Dan's, (my local shop), and see if replacing it with CTS is an option.

Thanks again.

Tom

Thought I would post that after a few weeks and some serious play time, the guitars EMG volume pot, (which seemed fairly stiff at first), is now very comfortable. It reacts very similarly to the pot that is on my Axis as well as my other branded guitars that have CTS pots installed. Perhaps it just needed a bit of use to get it into harmonious working order.

Cheers,

Tom
