Luke's EMGs from 2004 Black sparkle and Red gtrs

Sorry first time poster long time lurker and finally a Luke 2 owner! Was watching a concert from 2004 and noticed on his Black sparkle and Red gtr the neck pickup looks like an SAV (exposed poles). Anyone with any experience with swapping in an SAV in the neck position? I like the sound of the stock SLV but now I am curious. Also noticed the Black sparkle has a mini switch, I assume that's an EMG boost.

Any insights would be appreciated, thanks!

Hey man, welcome. If I remember right that was a sustainer pickup. Always thought the Luke looked awesome in Black Sparkle, and that was Luke main guitar for a while.

Yea thanks, little more searching around and thats what they are, sustainers..

The little Switch and the Neck Pickup are for the Fernandes Sustainer. He used it on Gypsy Train on that Concert I believe.
