Hehehe. You guys still down with the lunch thread?

last one I started kinda fell by the wayside. Figured I'd drop it for a week or two since I've been running ragged at work.....figured I'd also resurrect it since I'm here right now.

I've pretty much learned the value of taking my own lunch to work (I've saved a considerable amount of dough). I mean it costs me about 5 lunches to get groceries I can stretch for almost 2 weeks. The numbers never lie.

I'm pretty much moved in at my new apartment now too. Things are relatively smooth on the old lady front too, tho' she keeps pressing me to purchase a red guitar since they're apparently "pretty"....who knew? (Maybe Radiance Red isn't so far off?) .

Overall things are good. How are you guys? Any good stories?

Oh yeah forgot...

Music: Dillinger Escape Plan - Miss Machine, The Hives - Tyrannosaurus Hives, Vaz - Dying to Meet You., Killswitch Engage - The End of Heartbreak.

That's about it.

I skipped lunch today Orange. I got busy feeding my newbie. She's nine days old now and I just can't get over her. Kids are so facinating this early.

I've been watching a Dream Theater DVD I just got. Live in Tokyo and Once in a Livetime combo, it's pretty amazing. :D

Got that same DVD yesterday (best thing about it is the hairstyles and clothing!!! and in some cases how thin the tone is....Ronnie Scot's covers show....) along with the explosive version of the bourne identity. Oh, I talked to Pete tonight, his ish seems to be legit bro, as far as I can tell...and CONGRATS ON THE KID! You need to mention these things man!

Deadringer..Congrats on the child....Mine just turned 21...Yikes! My only advice...Take lots of pictures, and make sure you date them! My other advice is a quote from James Taylor..."Try not to try too hard, It's just a lovely ride" ...Hug that baby for me...Jon :D

Thanks for the advice. I always listen to anyone who's raised their kids that far. My new daughter isn't my first but she'll be my last (thanks to a little surgery to her mom and one later for me).

Children in our household are a special blessing after my son died in 2000. It's really amazing how tragedy can make the mundane sublime and the extrordinary indescribable. She is our little angel. Thanks to everyone for their good wishes! :D

Dude, sorry to hear that. I feel for anyone who has been thru that sort of thing. I've got 2 girls 3 and 6 and I couldn't imagine life without them.

P.S. I've been thru the fix and it wasn't that bad. A little bit of advice, make your appointment for a Friday it makes life a lot easier.
