Madness on full term day

I think the nine months of waiting has finally sent me mad. Mother and baby are still holding on to each other, but I came home with something today.
A friend had an SR4 HS, maple neck in Honeyburst, but had his head turned by my bongo5.
So trade done......lovely bass, like going back to my roots, but with an extra pick up.
Guess I am not man enough for the Bongo....just a Stingray kinda guy.
Will post pics soon promise.

Oh now one thing....took off the pickguard, and there is another pick up under there. Seriously...... secret squirrel pickup.
how and why.....someone?

That other pickup is the 'dummy coil' so the single coil doesn't buzz.

We recently had our baby on July 29th, a boy (future owner of my bass collection). He showed up a few days early, and he's joy. But yeah, my bass playing stopped for about a month after.

You are not wrong there BP...... all we needed way to move house to add to the three (baby and first magazine in the editor's chair) been a fun time.

Have not tried the single H bongos yet so you might be right.
