I never use either of these. I hit the top toggle a lot by accident so I'd like to take it out of the circuit. Also, the guitar will not work normally without the batteries. Can this be avoided by disabling the boost? Thanks.

IMO, your best bet is to get a JP6 without piezo. The Majesty is pretty complex wiring. If the switch is in the way you might look into "removing it" by unmounting it and stashing it inside the cavity if there is room. Likely not though.

You could also gut it and replace with your own wiring.

If its a "keep it forever" guitar i would suggest gutting it and rewiring as passive. Google "ebmm majesty passive mod" for info.
