very cool, from one Peter to another , Peter Murray is a good cat

a Mark head into a Mark 410 is a lightweight gargantuan of volume btw, I'm sure you'll dig it Dave.

that's sooo cool!

I probably will be joining the MarkBass family next summer when I buy a mini rig for my practice amp in college. Markbass little mark 250 with an epifani UL110 most likely.

We don't need to do the Clinc thing but thank you, Lets just hope the stuff stands up as good as Ampeg, GK etc. Then we'll be happy Kids

dave why are you speaking for everyone and so negative? Guitar Center gets bashed and smashed and has just extended a very kind offer just for us.

I encourage any LA area foumites to attend and report back to our world wide group of knuckleheads.

(by the way Ed Dave has already purchased a Mark Bass from GC Atlanta)

Sorry, I didn't think that was Negative at all, wording was wrong and l'll fix that, but I speak for My own little world that doesn't come on the Music Man forum, approx 450 Bass Players, I have several folks that ask me questions I don't have answers too. Cliff Hugo, Dave Mansten Loves these amps along with many others. I tried them at Namm and was Very Impressed so I can't wait to get mine.
I know these are great Clinics and these amps are from Italy so it's always good to learn what you can.
Also ED just so you know I have spent $29K just last year alone on Music Man Basses from different GC stores, So I'm all For Guitar Centers Bigtime So Sorry if what i said came out wrong. Dave Jeffrey

I myself have been a Markbass owner for 3 months now (Little Mark II head), and I can't say enough good things about it. It sure is not the best rock'n'roll amp, but as long as you want punch and clarity, it is very hard to beat in this price range (well, based on European prices, uh).

Yeah I had a great conversation with Marco at 06 Namm as we talked a bit about Walter Woods which he wasn't aware of but Small, Powerful and light. is very awesome. I Love my Walter Woods Amp 1500 watts into 4ohms and weighs 7 pounds also. But the thing with the woods Amps is the headroom seems Shallow even with the wattage.

Many amp People had tried to do this including GK but none have had the sucsess.
So looks Like MarkBass has Nailed it and I'm excited to own one also. Thanks.

Ed,

If I post this on The Dude PIt could LA Pitters also come?

This is a good sign, a company wants to be supportive... where have we see that before??? :D

BP, I know you played a big role in bringing MarkBass to the USA, thank you sir!

If the new ones sound as good as my old one, boyz, we're in for a treat!

As long as you keep in mind this some kind of hifi (= non-colouring) amp, I'd be surprised if you were disappointed. BTW, I toured with it last summer, connected only to an Ashdown MAG210T cab (8 ohm), and yet couldn't crank the volume up to more than 3 (out of 10) without causing interferences with the mikes on stage. Yes, there is much headroom in these amps. Amazing. Though, when time comes for me to play rock music, I guess I'll have to consider a second amp (Ampeg SVT or alike).

No problem Steve. Just have them print out the post and bring it. The front door of the store will be locked but there will be someone there to let in forum members.
