Maybe Im a fanboy, but I dont care.

Id just like to say that when I plug my flatwound strung Sterling or StingRay 5 into my Ampeg V4BH/Ernie Ball MusicMan HD-212 rig I hear EXACTLY what has been the tone in my head for a very long time. It is such a great feeling.

Thats all.

I love that sound too, Travis. That was my main rig for almost 4 years until I bought an LMII. My buddy talked me out of selling the Ampeg!

Im glad youre not selling the Ampeg. You know Brad, the V4BH has been discontinued, so they will wind up being worth something one day, IMO.

Travis “Fan Boy” has been legitimized, it’s a complement.

I have one of my Sterling’s strung with flats and I’ve been playing it thru my SVT CL/810e rig, it makes a truly great sound!

Enjoy yourself my fellow Fan Boy!

Recently I purchased a new amp combo made from another manufacturer from MF that smoked after 10 days of owning it, and had to return it. Im glad it did because I got an SVT-210 HE and an SVT 3-pro for a steal, Ive never owned an ampeg rig, I know why so many people like them now! Great deep sound perfect for the SR5. And this is the first 2 10 cab that Ive not been able to easily break up with my B string! Cant wait to add a 410 HE too it!! So yeah I guess Im a fanboy too!

I want to Photoshop-shrink that Ampeg emblem on the cabinet so it looks like a 4-10.

Makes that SR5 look FREAKISHLY huge.

But SR5's are freakishly huge, thats part of what makes them cool looking! Im even part of the minority that likes the SR5 pickguard. For some reason it reminds me of a shark fin. :p Don't worry, very soon a 410 cabinet will be added and the balance will be restored!!
