does anyone know anything about this recording thing? is it possible to hook this thing up to a mixer and get more ins and what not, or is it limited to only 2 ins?

bassicly, can this thing record drums?
and how does the bass come out?

Basically, these days I'm thinking of buying one. Actually I'm between the MBox and the new Mackie Spike. Most people say that the Mackie is better but because the MBox has some time 'in the business', it has a much greater fan club. It also features very high quality mic preamps by Focusrite. I don't know though if Spike features XDR preamps which are much better.

i would go with the Mbox just because it comes with Pro Tools, reason, and some nice plug ins... but i did hear that the earlyer versons of the Mbox sucked real good, and the protoold they give you can only handel i think 32 tracks, where as the Spike software has unlimited tracking.
