MIDI With HD500X?

Has anyone used the GC with POD HD500X? I'm new to MIDI, but understand the concept. I would like to be able to set the blade position to trigger presets on the HD500X, but I'm not sure how to configure this. Does anyone have any thoughts? I have read other posts and still am unsure of how to accomplish this. Thanks in advance for your advice.

That should be easy. Go to the last page in webapp and select midi out. Probably select wished program change at desired switch position. Connect the midi cable to your hd500x midi input. That should be about it.
