I'm driving through Mississippi on Monday en route to Orange Beach, AL.

I'll go ahead and let you know that Alabama is not an exciting place.

Orange Beach is one of the nicer places in AL, though....make sure you get over to the Florabama Lounge. Usually some good music going on there, and some great crawfish!

Alabama is quite a dull place.

Yeah, I've been to Orange Beach several times. I like it because it's relatively quiet there (compared to Gulf Shores), plus I just like doing nothing at all on the beach.

I've been to Birmingham several times...seems like a nice place. I like the hills. We don't have that in south Louisiana.
