First post here. Sorry to waste it on a question...

I bought an Axis from GC about a week ago. Today, I noticed that there is a small 'paint bubble' on the back by one of the trem cover screws. I assume when the cover was screwed on at the factory, some of the paint rippled and pulled away from the body.

It feels a little petty to contact MM about the problem and ask for warantee service, but considering what I paid for it, it makes it a bigger deal. Had this happened to my $300 mexican strat, I'd shrug it off and move on.

I'm also trying to gague MM's potential response. Has anyone here had experience with their service? Will I have to pay to ship the guitar in? How have they dealt with warantee work in the past?

Thanks.

Mike,

If you bought the guitar new from Guitar center
and filled out the warranty card you should contact our customer service department. We would be interested in helping you out. Please call (866)823-2255 and ask for customer service. They can advise on how to take care of the problem.

Thanks

Derek
