MM Sterling Bridge Removal

I've been looking all over for some help with this.. I have a 94 or a 95 sterling..

I'm trying to remove the bridge to possibly install a new one and/or clean/repair the one i have... I obviously know how to take off the saddles and the 3 main screws.. but after that it won't budge. Is there something I'm missing? I see two posts that are on the outside of the saddles but I can't really tell if there are screws inside them are not... unfortunately it's kind of grimey due to lack up of upkeep (i know i know)..

any help would be appreciated.

I haven't tried to take one of those types of bridges off, but always figured those were big old honkin' anchor bolts.

Right! ...they're anchor bolts. They're removed by inserting a larger hex wrench to the bolts themselves (no smaller bolts inside).

i bet the bolts are metric. just becarfull you use the right size so you don't risk stripping those babies out.

Instead of removing the whole bridge why don't you try some windex or another type of cleaner with a toothbrush and scrub the hell out of it??

Ooh....toothpaste works great with metal.....it will make it shine and clean it up nicely.....I just remembered that.......Hope my 2-bits helps.
