Why do some of these models have a Family Reserve logo at the 12 fret and some don't? But other than that they look identical. Any difference with the one's that don't have the logo?

And also, can that hideous pick guard be taken off? I think it would look better with just the screws left in and no guard.

I believe the ones with BFR are from the original run of 75.

Yup, the ones with the BFR inlay are from the first run of 70. They're also hand signed by Steve himself.

Those are the only differences.
