Post number 3000.

I want to thank everyone here for helping me to contribute to the forum.

Thanks to BP for making this possible by building the basses and financing the forum.

Thanks to Jack for keeping things running smoothly, his even handed moderation and especially his martinis.

Thanks to Gav for keeping all of the technical info handy and being a great next door neighbor.

Thanks to Paul for putting together the "color" wheel for the forum.

Thanks to Keith B. for being such a good travel agent for our Cali trip.

Thanks to Joel D. for the BC Bongo that has become my main go to bass.

Thanks to Koogie for dinner. (I figure if I keep thanking you it'll happen again.)

A special thanks to all of the folks at EBMM, Scott, Dudley, Jon, Derek, Beth, Enjoneer, Code Monkey and all the rest for making this the most informed forum I've ever been a part of.

Thanks to everyone else for putting up with my b.s. and letting me be your imaginary friend. I always enjoy my time here and I especially have enjoyed meeting some of you live and in person. This is just such and awesome place with such an incredible gathering of people that it's hard to grasp sometimes how such a place can exist.

There is in fact an online company who will pay you to start topics on forums, to attract visitors and generate activity at the forum. Forum owners pay the company a fee, and the company hires people to post away. Presumably they prefer people who know something about the subject matter of the forum in question.

Every day, I'm happy to be a part of this.

Thanks for the compliment, Larry, but it's mostly you guys who keep this place funny and interesting and just one hell of a good time.
