Mr. Sparky, the wandering bass is finally here! The black sparkle Stingray Travis sold me finally made it after two tours around Georgia. Came back from lunch and found a UPS note on the office door. Arrrghhh. But life in a small town is sometimes good. I spotted the truck in another part of town and tracked him down.

This bass is really pretty. I thought the sparkle might be over the top but it isn't.
Now, for the mirrored pickguard to come in..... Hey, I'll at least try it!

The pickguard should be in this week. I'll post before and after pics for ya'll to give candid remarks. It looks good with the white one to.

Travis, you're right. Even though I have little experience it sure plays well.

I got my beloved SR5 14 months after I started playing.

Then came 2 Fernandes.

Then they left.

Then came the black sparkle SR4.

Then it left.

Now i've got my SR4. Oddly enough, i'm trying to sell it but I was quite wrapped up in it this morning. If I get the funds for a Bongo without selling my SR4, i'd be one happy man.

Did you ever get around to install a mirrored or clear pickguard and shoot some photos? I'm considering to change the pickguard to clear or mirror on mine and just can't decide what to order... would love to see some pics, if you have any...

I had a mirror pickguard once, a two way mirror. But I put on backwards and all you could see was my beer gut….
