Hi folks,
Just picked up a new MM cutlass! It's awesome. I think my fender strat may end up becoming a piece of wall artwork in my living room.

I have re-strung it and swapped from the hybrid 9-46 that came on it to 10-46.

Quick question - should I need to do any setup adjustments (truss, saddles etc) by this change? I would have assumed it should be pretty right left as is, given the gauge change is only in the thinner strings. The heavy strings remain the same.

I have adjusted the spring claw screws to get a bit of floating on the tremolo but that's all.

Cheers
Dave

In principle the neck relief and perhaps the intonation on the wound strings could move a little but if the guitar plays and feels good, then you have no reason to do anything if you don't want to.
