Musicman bass tuner membrane replacement?

OK guys. This question might sound stupid, but I literally searched everywhere. So when you take apart, a music man bass tuner – there is a plastic membrane, which is getting worn out overtime. So where do you get those? And why is it there in the first place? I don’t know any other basses tuners that have membranes. Thank you so much in advance. Have a wonderful day.

I think all older EBMMs (pre 2018, because then they changed design and brought in lightweight tuners) and all Sterling basses. Just take the tuner apart

They’re made by Schaller, I think, so you could contact them to ask about spares.

Ok, I did some 10 second google searching. Schaller calls those "slip sheets", and they are part of the design. I can honestly say that I have never had one wear out, even on a 20 year old bass.
