My wife is. I'm trying my best to work on my Tagalog since we just had our first child and want her to be bilingual. So I have to say as much Tagalog as I can. Are you from the Philippines?

no my wife is from Ph though.
Trying to get the kids to be bilingual as well
When she talks to my daughter in Tagalog she starts to cry and says "I don't like that"
My son used to be the same but now he just laughs and thinks its funny
Best thing to do is just take them there.
My son picked it up really fast.
daughter is 2 and son is 8
The best book I found so far is Basic Tagalog for foreigners and non-tagalogs.

We are planning on going back to PH next year. I miss it over there and can't wait to go again. Our daughter is only 4 months old right now so I have a little time still to learn more Tagalog. Good talking to you again!
