Well,

Yesterday I received my EBMM Albert Lee and it is gorgeous. I went with a Rolls Burgundy MM90 model with tremolo. Besides the obvious beauty of it, what I really notice is how she resonates without being plugged in. A truly comfortable guitar, when I picked her up for the first time the neck felt like an old friend. I know, I'm still feeling the buzz of getting a new guitar but can ya blame me?

Anyways here's some pics, I will get some better ones up when the sun comes out today. It seems Rolls Burgundy is quite hard to capture on film.

Congrats man!!! Finally you've got it right? Now go play and dont come back untill that neck is like rosewood :D, hehehhe. The Burgundy looks nice for sure. So what was the total time that it took for it to get to you?

nice plank!!!! hows the back of the neck look?? Figured or grained??? They always seem to be totally different from Ball to Ball--more so than other guitars. I'm thinkin hard bout the MM90s when I order my AL.

PUG, PUG - I said PUUUUGGGGG!!! !!!!!!
It's a long way to shout!!
That looks awesome buddy, bloody awesome.

I'm so glad you like the neck.

When you PM'd me you said that it was too late to crank it, what's it sound like?

I got a quote on a LE AL today and it's not looking good :(

Our guitars together would make a great photo !!

Gotta go, my son is bugging me to get off his computer.

As MBgreene says - welcome to the AL Owners club and carefull with the

Anyone else notice that Pug hasn't responded to any questions or posted since his thread started at 10:04 this morning? I wonder what he's doing.......

This guitar is just amazing !!

I finally put her down after a serious all day workout through my trusty 5150 half-stack. The MM90's sounds incredible when distorted, I just had to tweak the bass control on my amp a little and it was perfect. I use the rhythm channel for my clean sounds and once again these pickups truly shine. Eventually, I will get another amp more suited for the shimmering cleans I desire, but for now I'm just fine. Great response with a wide variety of tones available via the 5 way switch. Like I stated in my first post, the neck feels like an old friend which is why it's so hard to put this one down. I also noticed that the position of the volume knob is perfect for me to wrap my right hand pinkie around for swells and anchoring. The trem is very responsive and stable, which I like, and like everyone has told me before, the AL is just an incredibly comfortable guitar to play.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. Even though the wait can be tough, the members on this forum always make it seem to go faster.

I am not going to change the pickguard because I like how the w/b/w compliments the black MM90 covers. Creme would look really sweet though.....

The total wait was a blink of an eye  4 months and 6 days. Totally worth it and I will gladly do it again when I need my next EBMM.

I'll post some more pics when I get a really good representation of Rolls Burgundy, I will also add one of the back of the neck. The wood pattern is really interesting on this neck.

Enough of my proclamations of affection for this guitar.
