Well here she is.........And it was worth the wait:D All i can say is WOW this thing rocks.Theres just something about this bass that says play me.It seems to have a certain growl to it that my stingray doesn't have.I put it on our digital scale and she comes in at 8lbs 12 1/2 ounces.A joy to play. The ebony board feels great!!!Now a couple of questions 1)Is it going to be ok to put power slinkys on this bass with the thinner neck? 2)what was used on the pole peices to make them black?paint or powder coat.....it seems to be wearing off how do i fix this? And again a special thanks to shamus for hooking me up with this awesome bass.

Dont worry about the power slinkies on the thinner neck unless you are uncomfortable adjusting the truss rod yourself. I put some on my sterling and it took a bit of tweeking the setup to get it nice and playable. Now it just rocks and since the power slinkies are such high tension, you can really get the action super low. I have no Idea what was used on the pole pieces, but you could always just cover them up with black nail polish. Oh and Killer Black Onyx!

Glad this bass is working out well for you!

The neck was extremely comfortable to play, and it looks killer in person!

I guess I should play these some more...maybe the body size will stop being an issue for me.
