Hello everyone, sorry my post about NAMM and pics are three weeks late. I started working on my PHD in Musicology this past fall at the University of California, Riverside, and just now catching up on things following a three day weekend. I attended NAMM on an education pass, and will write a paper about the event later this quarter. Eventually, in a few years my dissertation topic will discuss all things guitar in the So Cal region, but I have much groundwork to do before I tackle the subject.

The Ernie Ball Music Man booth was incredible to see. The layout, instruments, staging, accessories, and artists hanging out was amazing. I visited the booth several times throughout the day to checkout the events and sightings.

I got to say a quick hello to BP, and to my surprise behind me was Chuck Liddell! Although he was not there for an appearance, he was kind enough to say hi and take a quick picture with me. The experience of having these great guitars, John Petrucci (DT's my favorite band), and Mr. Liddell (the UFC's my favorite sport) all in the same spot was sensory overload!

Since the show, I couldn't get my mind off of the Majesty. So, I purchased a JP Majesty Precious Metal 6 Copper Fire finish from Sweetwater. Astonishingly (pun intended), it is a work of art as well as a musical instrument! Hopefully, time permitting I can Match the Master!

Sorry the pics are sideways. I couldn't figure out how to fix them. Please rotate if you can! Thanks!

Chuck is THE MAN! Sounds like you had a great NAMM experience. Can definitely be sensory overload.

Oh, and congrats on the guitar! It is a guitar on a whole other level.
