Hey thanks.

My wife did the wall paper, she had to order it, but it turned out great. Back in the old days when I actually had a keyboard set up in there I played it... it looks better than it sounds though.

I'll do it sir! A couple of other people have asked for one as well.

I want to wait till I take it to the Wednesday night jam (if I get to stay in town that long), they have a pretty good bass rig and it will be at real world volumes. I'll do a full report after that.


But so far here at the house with the MarkBass/Berg rig it sounds huge. The fit and finish are the usual EBMM excellence I've come to expect. Setup right out of the box perfect, Steve's in the hot and dry, I'm in the hot and humid. It wouldn't suprise me to have to give the wheel a little turn, but I don't remember having to on Jewel either.

The tones from the 3 band is suprisingly wide, in the center indents flat it sounds big and full and warm, this one thing I like about all EBMM's.

It is a different bass than my other Bongo's, I already think of this one differently. This one is far more forgiving with my limited slap chops and it seems to respond to different playing positions more. Playing up at the end of the fretboard on the single hummer gives a smooth, ringy tone that blossoms sort of like a fretless, I can not recreate this on my other Bongo's.

This is going to be a fun bass!

I spun that one around so fast I doubt it had any time to adjust out here Chuck...was here less than 24 hrs and only out of the case for 5 mins tops so I could photograph it.
