My new Silo Special is the most comfortable guitar I've ever played.

Finally got the chance to put the strap on and play standing up today. (Right after I received the guitar, I had to have a skin cancer removed from left shoulder--17 stainless steel surgical staples in a line about 8" long--eecchh.)

Now that the staples are out, I played for about an hour--man, this axe is so lightweight and contoured so nice it fits like the proverbial glove. Plus, with the HSS configuration, it's the most versatile of my guitars. Of course, there the amazing EBMM neck, which everyone knows about.

I can't wait for band practice this Friday.

:)

I know that feeling------I only started playng standing up about 2-3 weeks ago----I snapped my left Achilles tendon in October----been a longgggg time. By the time My new Luke gets here I 'll finally be back in fighting trim. Hope you feel better and heal up soon!!!!!!!!!

I love my silo special, It has become my main guitar for reasons stated -

Something similar happend tome:
I ordered a fender stratacoustic, and one week before recieving it i chopped off my finger next to my pinki(something like Iommi but not that much), so could not play i till 1 month later ,pretty much suck

Agreed, although I prefer the sound of my Super Sport, the Silos I've tried in stores have always been very light and comfy!

Awesome you like the Silo.....

The rest of you guys, I would be scared hanging out with you....accident prone....hehehehehe.....seriously, hope you guys get better. I have been there several times hurt/injured and the older I get, the longer it takes to come back to form.....be careful out there!
