I had my bass shipped to my parents house and it arrived yesterday. Unfortunately I had to go to Austin for business, so I didn't get it till tonight. I had so much to do tonight after I got in town, I didn't even get a chance to unpack until 930ish.

In honor of the occasion, I poored myself some Scotch.

And here is my personal tribute to Sterling Ball

Two Bongos in his favorite pickup configuration, and of course, one Sterling.

Congrats Paul! Beautiful collection you have there. Let me know if you'd like to trade your fretless for mine for a while.

You have quite a good looking collection. I like the newest one best. It says rock and roll.

Have fun with it. The Single H ones are killer aren't they?

You single H guys are killing me. *Putting fingers in ears* "la la la la la la". I don't hear you!

Just got home from playing my Single H Bongo 5. I can't hear you and my fingers are no where near my ears.

Fingers in the ear are only a slight reduction in sound. :)

Order one. You may feel free to choose the color. But Paul has one of the best colors there is.

IMHO

That is so cool. We got to experience the unpacking with you. It is like Christmas came early. I wish I could have sat down and had a drink with you and seen that baby get played. How exciting. When I finally get a Sterling I will try to photograph the process too.

DAMN Paul!

That new bass is sweet!

I like that abalone p/g on both basses, but I think it might look best on the MG. That other p/g is radical on the red Bongo too. I likey!

Coming out to Willhoite's this weekend?

paul....WOW!

As I've said so many times the single H is just a really special bass. Its is alot like a sports car with the top down....

I got a little nervous when I read the thread title, but Ill hoist one for your new baby tonight!
