A few minutes ago I was playing my JP6 just like any other day, but when I flipped the toggle switch on the upper horn for an electric/piezo blend...I only got an electric signal...no sound came from my acoustic amp.

I stripped down my signal chain to having just the mono jack go out into the acoustic amp, and I still had the same results...the magnetic pickups worked fine, but the piezo signal was nonexistent. I flipped the switch AGAIN and now I can hear the piezo, but it sounds very muffled and with something almost like radio static.

Is it time to change the battery? Or is this a sign of bigger issues?

Well I swapped the battery, and I still get the weird rumbling sound. Looks like it's time to call Customer Service

Sounds like a loose connection on a piezo saddle. I had the same issue on a silhouette special, which was easily fixed by my local dealer.

Try pushing on each individual string just in front of the saddle while plugged into your amp. If you have a loose piezo saddle connection, pushing on the offending string should cause the piezo output to cut in and out with some popping noises.

^ Well I went to try that this morning, but the hum was gone! I concluded that from now on, I'll plug my acoustic amp and electric amp into different outlets. Maybe that should've an obvious thing to do, but I don't know anything about electrical circuits and all that jazz haha.
