Sweet man! I love the look of the darker necks with the heavier birdseye like the amber axis you have. I had a stingray bass once with a realy figured neck and it looked class!

The amber neck is definately more flamey and darker...although some of that is fretboard grime since its my main guitar. :rolleyes:

Actually the blue axis' neck has more birdseye figuring...but since the maple on this one is a little lighter (and clean :D ) the flash wiped the detail out...

I think the only way those two guitars could look any better is if they were surrounded by the seven I currently own! :D

The EX is stunning spkirby - makes me want one all the more... come on, twenty-ought-six!
