Neck cleaning/Floyd Rose question

The necks on my musicman guitars are in dire need of cleaning. We tried cleaning one but floyd bridge popped off the studs mid-cleaning.

Aside from completely removing the bridge (which is a pain to reinstall) does anyone have suggestions for keeping it from popping off the studs? We dont seem to have this problem on the resessed bridges, just these flat-mount musicman trems.

Try putting a shim on the back of the trem block- stick a piece of wood, etc. in there.

Take off 3 clean the half re-string take off other half re-string. Easiest way I know of not to have to resest the floyd.
