Can I use lemon oil? If not, what can I use (I live in the UK so gun oil isn't really available)

where are you in the UK?

Just ask your local dealer for Wonderwipes they will help - if you are in/near london, Holland and Holland the gun manufacturers sell loads of gun oil, and mail order as well....

Are Wonder Wipes for the fretboard (ie a rosewood fretboard),

or are they intended to do the back-of the-neck wax/tru-oil care as well?

This is a very good question. Does anyone have the answer?

You can buy the exact recommended Birchwood Casey brand gunstock oil AND wax here in the UK. I can't remember where I got mine, but I did a google search and bought them both via t'internet. I've never actually opened the bottles yet, but I'm ready when needed.

I originally thought the same as you and assumed you may not be able to buy such products over here in the UK, but I guess those (now pretend) hunters still need to maintain their guns. But I'd be curious to know which government watch lists my name now appears on thanks to the purchase of these fine products. ;)
