When will the new SR5's with Alnico pups hit the stores or have they already ? Has anyone tried them ? Is there a way to physically tell the difference? Opinions?

I'm also wondering if they are going to be wired in series, like the Sterling and the previous SR5, or parallel like the Stingray.
