Hey guys,

Just got my first EEMM Axis today and ......................WOW....................just................Wow! I never understood what all the hoopla was about until I laid my hands on one today a month ago at my local music store and I was hooked.

Anyway, it's been a long time since I was this excited about a purchase, but on my lap as I type is my new baby.

Here's the scoop. I've been researching the Axis for about a month now and thought I'd seen all the colors that it's available in.

Well, today my local music store called to tell me they just received a new shipment of Axis's, and thought I should come check out an awsome 'Dark Cherry Burst" color they just got in.

It's a darker transparent red color in the center (On quilted maple) with the traditional black 'burst' edges. (If I knew how, I'd post a picture here to show you)

Has anyone EVER seen this color on an Axis? It's NOT the Burnt Apple color either. My dealer showed my the invoice, and it shows "Dark Cherry Burst" as the color.

I read in a previous thread that EBMM made some new color choices in an announcement at NAMM, so maybe I got an early one?

I just wanted to say that I ordered a Peavey Wolfgang standard 3 weeks ago and had it less than a week before I sold it on EBAY. It was a nice guitar, but had NO WHERE NEAR the quality and attention to detail than my Axis! The first time I used the Floyd, I heard an audible 'pop' as the neck shifted in the pocket! Very disappointing. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK Ernie and crew!!!!

We offer a Cherry Burst and a Black Cherry Burst. You probably have the Black Cherry. We first showed those colors at the '02 summer NAMM show.

Thanks,
Greg

Thanks!

Wow, sounds like I got an early release. Thanks for the quick response Greg! (one more reason your company rocks!)

Hey Duggo that Wolfie that you sold wouldn't happen to be purple would it. If it was the one I bought I have not had any probs with it, just need to put a new bridge pup in since I don't care too much for the stock ones. :D
