youll need to post the serial number for someone to help you on the date of birth question.

great looking guitar, by the way.

Hey
Thanks BackDoorBandit for pointing out that I didn't have the serial number listed. I must of had a brain fart. It was sitting right in front of me and didn't type it in. It's there now:)

Tommy, I'm almost sure it's Honeyburst. That's what they told me at the store where I bought it. I listed the Serial # so someone can tell me for sure.

Hey Colin,

To my knowledge it's not a premium top. I left the serial # in the first post to get the info on it so hopefully someone will be able to tell me.

it just makes you appreciate EBMM quality doesn't it? I think I'll have to get one just like it. the rosewood board really makes it.

Yes, I definately appreciate them.

Their quality control is outstanding and the fact that they are still a family owned business and they do their absolute best to take care of their customers is awesome.

I've been a fan of their guitars for a long time but the weaker Canadian dollar put them out of my price range. Now with the CDN dollar doing much better against the U.S. dollar, getting a Ball doesn't hurt the wallet nearly as much. And when you compare other guitars against anything from Ernie Ball at the same price range, it's no contest.....Ernie wins!!!!!!!

P.S. I hope you get a similar one. You won't be disappointed. I've also seen a Tobacco Sunburst in person and they are gorgeous too.

Take it easy,
Scott
