Hi guys and gals. I'm new here with a question. I play electric 6 strings (Fenders) and use the 9's (#2223) but I have a problem. I seem to have a heavey index finger on the G string when I play a chord such as an "E" chord. Without trying to I am pushing a bit to hard and the string sounds out of tune. That string is a 16. Do you think it will help if I went to a set with a 17 or even 18 G (third string)?
