Hi, I recently joined the EB family with my Sparkle Axis. I have a few questions for you guys (although more will come later :D ).

1) When was this lady born? (SN: G17402)
2) How should I take care of this wonderful neck?

Thank you, very much

Alright mate. Jonny from Dubai here. Welcom to the forum. I just joined too. The site is great for info and pics of great guitarz. Don't know the answer to the 1st question. 2nd question-- wash your hands!--no i will let someone with more experience tell you that one----cause i wanna know the secret too. :p

Take it easy.

Welcome to the addiction! Check out the FAQ page. Unlike other sites, this is a useful FAQ! Your question will be answered there for sure. If not, post back and we will get you the answer you are looking for. However, with the open house, there might be only crickets chirping.....so, be patient and enjoy the ride!

Welcome to the forum. Newbie here too.... in regard to your first question, post the serial number in the Stickied thread "IMPORTANT: my serial # is..." . Beth or Derick will have the answer for you pretty fast.

In regard to the second question, if it has a rosewood finger board, a little lemon oil every now and again helps maintain the suppleness of the wood. Unfortunately, I don't know much about maple fingerboards... all my guitars, except one, have rosewood.

Thank you all. I'll have a look at the FAQ and post the S/N in the other thread.

:p

Hmm.

I thought that thread was for posting your serial number and a brief description of the instrument.. the intention was in case your axe was lost or stolen, and you were foolish enough to not have your serial # written anywhere, you could come back here and find it.

Yes, this is true... the nice thing is that he'd get the answer to the birthdate question and do all of the above... hence my suggestion.
