Question New L3?

Hmm looks like development models, maybe L4 or LIV. I wonder what Luke is looking for?

Thanx for sharing. Glenn |B)

The natural one reminds me of the LIII torture thread that BP posted waaaaay back in like 2011; MM had made a couple of test mules with reversed headstocks and natural bodies. Anyone still got those pics? I hate that we lost so many of those old threads (not to mention all those old photobucket embedded pics).

Hey Steve , welcome back, good to have you post, so those from a show you went too? Cool guitar and not used to seeing Luke gray;)o_O

So if Mules, they do look unfinished (which would be cool) any update in changing body wood?

SSS looks Mahogany, HH looks Okoume.

Dont know the story with moving away from Alder/Ash.

I have'nt gone back to check CITS to see which tone woods are still restricted.

I might have some of those pics on a HD somewhere...

Ive been scouring the internet for a new Luke III Green Flame Maple top... There aint many up for grabs anywhere. wonder if the current L3 line up is winding down to make way for a new line up

They don't usually do that, they usually have the older line around for a few years or longer. Like the Luke 2, that was around for a while after the L3 dropped.

I see Sweetwater advised that the Flame maple top green was no longer available. Maybe other Color / Types will carry on but lets see.

Well this years NAMM show is April 13-15, so chances are we'll know by then. EBMM usually announces their new stuff during NAMM, let's see if they hold true.

Adder that Luscious Green isn't it?
